My toddler scratched the baby's face again today. It was near his eye again. I'm going to take a vacation from writing here until I can get this straightened out. It's very upsetting.

I am sure that MetalGirl did not mean to hurt MetalBoy. It is very normal for toddlers to act out on younger siblings. Don't let it upset you too bad. It will work itself out over time. I have been combing the web to find some suggestions for you.
One suggestion I read was that when she does something like that, tell her that it hurts her baby brother and that she should not do that and then give her time-out to think about it. It also suggested that you make sure that you set some time aside for just her. Maybe she is tired of sharing you right now. Just a suggestion.
Anyway, hang in there. I hope that things get better soon!!
